Poker sites that accept US players are getting fewer and fewer, we lost a few lately, and there are even less good sites out there offering rakeback for U.S. players !
According to our knowledge online poker is only illegal in a handful of states in USA. On the federal level, it is not illegal. However, the UIEGA, made it criminal to fund illegal online gambling. It can easily be argued that these rooms were not funding illegal online gambling, as it´s not actually being illegal, and poker is a skill game, not gambling. There is no U.S. federal legislation that makes online poker illegal (This should not be considered legal advice, this info is based solely on our knowledge).
On the 15th of April 2011, FBI seized domains of 3 poker sites serving american players within USA, Fulltilt, Absolute and UB´s domains was seized by the FBI ! Doyles Room, True Poker, Bookmaker and others have also been seized by the FBI. Just visit the sites and you will see ! Therefore we have removed these rooms from the list of USA friendly rakeback sites, as they have announced they will cease operations for players in the United states of America.

On the 10th of 2012 Everleaf network stopped accepting U.S. players and player accounts from USA was blocked, so now the list of USA friendly poker networks just got smaller.
On the 27th of September 2012, Cake Poker stopped accepting players from USA! They moved all of their U.S. player accounts and balances to Juicy Stakes, who are now one of the very few sites on Revolution network accepting american citizens!
On the 30th of April 2013 the first regulated online poker site in the history of USA launched, Ultimate Poker (What a bad brand name considering many U.S. players lost money when UltimateBet collapsed). Unfortunately, they are only licensed by the Nevada Gaming Commission, and therefore Ultimate Poker only accepts players that are actually within the state of Nevada.
